Transcription: Charles Franklin Fairfield, 1849-1930

Notes: Charles was the son of Maj. Micaiah and Margaret (Dickinson) Fairfield. He was born June 25, 1849, in Illinois. He migrated with his parents to Minnesota after the Civil War, in which his father served. Around 1882, Charles married Sarah Pillsbury (tombstone photo also below). They had one child, Elizabeth, in May 1884. Charles worked with his father in the grocery/grain business in Minneapolis. He died March 20, 1930.
