Notes: Mary was the daughter of David and Hannah (Thurber) Fairfield. She was born in Woodstock, CT. Her father died in 1815. As one of the older children, it is certain she was called on to help with her eight younger siblings. She moved to Pomfret with her mother shortly after her father's death and resided there the rest of her life. She is buried in the Pomfret Street Cemetery. See tombstone page.
