Notes: Ira was born in Hatfield, MA, January 7, 1765. That would make him about 85 years old in the 1850 census -- a perfect match. He married Anna Miller September 20, 1792, and lived in Williamsburg, MA, until December 2, 1850. Ira had at least two sons: Joseph Miller Fairfield and Esdras Fairfield. My efforts to confirm if perhaps William Fairfield, with whom Ira is living in 1850, is also a son have not proved fruitful. Anyone out there with information?
