Notes: Calvin was the son of Walter and Thankful (Cook) Fairfield. This census occurred after his second marriage in 1839, to Sarah Sheldon Harris. Thus it is presumed William K. was a son from Calvin's first wife, Sarah Cushing, since he was born before the second marriage. Conversely, Payson's and Ella's mother is second wife Sarah Harris.
