Notes: Ezekiel McKinstry was born August 17, 1753, in Ellington, CT., according to the Dictionary of Alabama Biography. He was the only surviving child of Alexander and Sarah (Lee) McKinstry. He married Rosina Chapman June 26, 1776. The couple had a dozen children, 10 of whom are reflected in this census -- 2 having already died in childhood.
