Notes:

Albert C. Fairfield was the only surviving son of David and Ann (Tate) Fairfield. Shortly after the 1910 census, the family moved (via horse and wagon) to Stanislaus County near Albert's sister, Mary (Fairfield) Duncan and her family. Albert worked transporting equipment for the Turlock District. Then in 1912, wanderlust hit Albert and the family moved (again via horse and wagon) way up north to Fort Bragg. Evidently, the family returned to Stanislaus County by 1920 in time for the census.
