Notes: Ingersoll, as he went by, was the son of Keith and Louise (McKinstry) Moffat. He was born February 23, 1883, in Mobile, Alabama. His mother died shortly after his birth, and his father when he was a young child. Afterward, he lived with his Aunt Jennie McKinstry and his similarly orphaned McKinstry cousins, the children of Jennie's brother William. In this census, he is living with both his Aunt Jennie as well as his Aunt Mary (his mother's sisters).
