Notes: Alice was the daughter of Angell and Lydia Ann (Williams) Wheaton. She was born March 28, 1856, according to the Biographical Record of Tolland and Windham County, Connecticut. She married Matthewson "Mason" Angell September 13, 1881. Her paternal grandmother's maiden name was Angell, so she was related to her husband in some manner that I have not determined. *They are boarding with their married daughter Harriet Turner in this census. Fairfield family historian Frank Corbin recorded a death date of 1922 for Alice in Willamantic, CT, but this is unverified by other sources.
