Notes: Albert C. Fairfield was the only surviving son of David and Ann (Tate) Fairfield. Born in the Napa Valley, he migrated south where work was available, largely in sync with the moves of his father-in-law, Stephen Pullen. He settled later in Modesto, Stanislaus County.
