Notes: Olive was the daughter of Charles and Sarah Fairfield. She was born July 23, 1839 (source: LDS IGI) in Indiana. She was living with her parents in Fort Wayne, IN, in the 1850 census. She married William Read Humphreys Edwards January 18, 1860 (source: LDS IGI). They moved to Montana sometime between 1862 and 1864. In the 1900 census, Olive is presumably widowed and has returned to live in her birthplace, Fort Wayne, with her youngest child, Stella, and elderly widowed mother, Sarah. Also back from Montana is Olive's brother Edward Fairfield and his family.
