ID: Knights Valley homestead of David Fairfield (Gen. 8)

Notes: David purchased land adjacent to his two brothers-in-law, William McDonnell and Marshall Keyes, in Knights Valley in the 1870s. He farmed and mined in the area. Amazingly, the land is largely undeveloped, appearing virtually the same as it did more than 100 years ago due to its proximity to a conservation district and continuous private ownership.
