Wenham, MA US GenWeb This is the hometown of John and Elizabeth Fairfield. You'll find links to MA vital records and many helpful resources. Be sure to scroll down to the link for the Fairfield Burial Ground located in Wenham. Or try the MA counties page.

Windham County, CT, GenWeb is the gateway for information about towns where several Fairfield branches lived in early generations. From this page you can also find the Pomfret, CT, Genweb which has numerous links to bio sketches, vitals, etc.

The General Society of Mayflower Descendants is a society for members who can document their descendancy from a Mayflower passenger.
The Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Museum is a fantastic repository of historic documents. Of particular interest is the original 1646 will of John Fairfield.

Salem, MA Vital Records to 1850 is a transcription of a records collection published by the Essex Institute in 1916. This is a nicely organized site with more links of interest.
Wenham Museum has several collections of interest to researchers, particularly the Timothy Pickering Library with its "extensive manuscript material on Wenham history, families, and a complete record of all the early houses in the Wenham historical district.
